Phoenix Part 1

Over Spring Break, we took Jace to Phoenix for a relaxing family vacation.  It was awesome, once we got down there.  The week before all three of us were really sick, on the way to the airport our relatively new SUV broke down.  We just made it to Airdrie, thank god!  Our seats/tickets were a bit messed up once we got to the airport.  Our first flight was little tin can airplane and Jace was horrific the entire time.  At one point he was laying in the middle of the aisle screaming and banging his fists on the ground.  He was so mad at us that we wouldn't let him run around.  Then the turbulence was awful, Jace was whimpering, I was crying...not fun.  Our second flight was a bit better, Jace slept for 45 minutes so at least there was a little quiet.  As soon as we landed Jace was all smiles and was ready to play with Gma.  Which was awesome, cause Mom and Dad were ready for a break.  Kane and Gpa came down 2 days later and I was able to fly to Vegas for 2 days to meet up with 2 good friends.  It was a awesome and fun trip, I am very lucky to have such a hands on hubby to take care of the little man.

Jace, looking like such a little boy now.  No more baby.

Jace in his pool gear.

He will turn anything he can find into a hockey stick!

These next two are some of my favorites of the little man.

CUTE!

Crazy Cousins!

Here are a bunch of pictures of the boys on their holiday in Phoenix.  These are two very BUSY boys!!!!  It was fun to watch them play, they are now starting to play with each other instead of just around each other.
I was lucky enough to get a chance to go to Vegas for 2 1/2 days while in Phoenix, so Curt, Gma and Gpa were in charge!

Gpa with his little boys!

Peek!  The tunnel held hours of fun!

Crazy glasses!

The boys got to go swimming twice a day!  Their favorite spot was the rocks.

Wishing they were outside!

The usual eating spot...facing the TV!!!  They ate so good!

What's up dudes!  The boys getting ready to do some shopping with Gma and myself.

HAHAHA, this was an impossible shot!  Trying to get both boys to look at me!  All they wanted to do was run!
Maybe next time!

Chillin'

This is one of my all time favorite, I wish Jace was looking at the camera though!  We went into A Children's Place and I saw these headbands....I thought it would be super cute to add a few accessories to the boys!

Phoenix Part 2

My boys having a swim.

Jace is a daredevil without a doubt.  We stood him on the edge of the pool adn he would jump/walk right off into the water!  He loved it, so much fun!

Gma, Jace and the new cactus.  Jace would point at it and say "cactus".  His vocabulary is getting bigger every day.  He is quite a little chatterbox!

Jace jumping to mommy.

Snooping in the cupboards.

Kaner checking out what he can snack on in the fridge.

Jace loves hockey right now, and will turn anything he can into a stick.  Here he is with his golf club.  He does a pretty good job wacking around anything he can find!

Warming up after a morning swim.

Peek a boo Mommy!

One of my absolute fave pics of Kaner!  What a cutie!

Hi!!!

Phoenix Part 3

Jace checking out the pool the first night.  Finally a bit of a smile!  There was no smiling for the two plane rides to get to Phoenix!

Pounding on the drum from Gma and Gpa.

Jace absolutely LOVED this floatie last summer when he was 7 months old.  This time, he lasted about 2 minutes and figured out how to climb out of it.  He would have none of it the rest of the trip!

Bowling in the entryway of the house.  Nice form hunny!

Jace and dad playing a little ball before bed one night in the yard.

Jace loved running around on the grass!

Jace decided he needed to go in the pool right after a nap.  No time for a bathing suit!  Here he is climbing out afterwards.

Jace playing on the piano.  He LOVED it!  It will not be making another appearance at our house, lol!

Jace was a big fan of playing on the rocks.
Jace got a Diamondbacks jersey last year from Gma and Gpa.  He is finally big enough to wear it.  We put it on him before we went to the ball game but it was so hot that Jace ended up in just a t-shirt.

Jace was absolutely in love playign the recorder!  He walked around the house playing it all day.  I could teach him a few tunes, I paid $500.00 to take a stupid music class at U of A, so I am a pro at it!  Not!!!

Before the ball game.

FLASHBACK! Here we are 8 months ago at the same spot!

Me and my little boy!

Tough day at the ball diamond!

A little one on one time with my little man!
