Bowling

Today we took Jace bowling!  It was a lot of fun!  Jace was very excited whenever new pins would be brought down.  He would scream" More pins, more pins!"  He also loved watching the ball return.  I think these were his two favorite parts!  He got to wear a cute pair of bowling shoes too!  As always, Aubrey was very well behaved hanging out in her carseat.  She slept through most of the activity so we didn't bother to take her out of the carseat.  She usually gets taken out and carried around after Jace as he plays at the other fun things we have done this summer!

Jace got the hang of it by the end and was pretty well behaved for most of it!  We will be going back for sure!

 

Just Hanging Out!

Aubrey is getting so big already!  She had her 6 week check up yesterday and has gained 2 pounds since she was born.  Bringing the grand total up to 8 pounds 11 ounces!  She has a wicked case of baby acne but they assure us it will fade in a few weeks.  Other than that she is doing great!  She is starting to let us get some sleep at night which has been awesome!  She still gets up to eat once a night but goes back down quickly after she is done so it hasn't been too bad.

She is smiling up a storm and making lots of cute noises!  I think she sounds like a baby dinosaur!  I called her that the other day adn Jace was quite concerned!  He informed me that she was "baby sister" and "Not a baby dinosaur!"  It was very cute!

It was been a great summer and we are all adjusting to life as a family of four!  Our days are crazy busy all the time but we are loving every minute with our two little ones!  It is going to be a sad day when Curt does back to work in 2 1/2 weeks.  Boo!  Until then, we will enjoy our time together!

Lacombe Corn Maze

One night after supper this week, Curt and I decided to take Jace and Aubrey to the Corn Maze in Lacombe.  We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised at everything ther ewas to do there!  We had such a great time that we bought passes to go again this fall!  Aubrey was a trooper as usual!  She tends to get carted around from activity to activity and never fusses!  We can't wait for next year when she can join in the fun!

And last but not least... The Maze.  I have to say though, this was our least favorite part of the night.  It was funny though when Curt and I kepty quoting lines from A Field Of Dreams and Jace just looked at us funny, lol!

All in all, it was an awesome family night!!!!
