Agri Trade 2012

Curt and I had Friday off because of Parent Teacher Interviews this week.  My dad got a bunch of passes for Agri Trade and since we know Jace loves tractors we decided to take him.  He absolutely loved it!  He was so excited to sit in all the tractors and "drive" them!  He pushed as many buttons as he could and was all smiles... until it was time to leave.  He was not happy!  I think this is something that we will do every year now with him!  It was interesting to see all the high tech gadgets that were in the tractors.  It sure is alot different now than it was when my Grandpa and Curt's Grandpa use to spend all day in the tractors!

 

 

 

Happy Halloween 2012

This year Jace went dressed as a cow.  He was super cute mooing all over the place!  He understood a bit of what to do.  Even though it was sooo cold out, we still made it to a few key houses!  First we stopped at Great Grannie's where Jace proceeded to help himself to every piece of candy in the bowl!  Then we went to Jess' where Jace made himself at home and dumped all her candy on the floor and picked through what he wanted!  Next stop, across the street was Micaela's where Jace got a handful of candy and Curt and I got a parent's bag of booze!  Lol.  Then we went to Nana and Papa's where Jace got candy, stickers, bags, pj's, a shirt and Tom's!  After that we made a quick stop to my grade partner Michelle's where Jace showed off his hockey skills on her brand new hardwood floor!  Last stop was Uncle Ryan's where Jace got a bag full of candy!  Once we got hom, Curt decided to run Jace next door to visit our nice neighbors where they had made a bag that was waiting for Jace when he arrived.  A full shopping bag full of treats!  Mom and Dad had to help him with that one! 

Jace had a little snack and helped to hand out candy before he went to bed.  Curt and I decided to leave a bowl of candy on the front step with a sign that said "Baby sleeping, please take a candy!"  we left it outside until 9, fully expecting it to be empty when we went out to get it.  When Curt opened the door we realized some little punk had taken my entire bowl!  So if anyone is in need of a large lid to a very expensive tupperware bowl just let me know, I seem to have an extra now!  :(

 

 

First Snowfall

Jace loves to be outside in the snow!  It's a good thing that Curt likes to take him out because I HATE teh cold!  but we try to brave it as often as we can because Jace absolutely loves it!  He loves to wear his Thomas boots!  Last weekend we met up with the Jackons's and went sledding on a big hill.  Jace loved sledding with everyone and he especially liked seeing is buddies Brody and Kaylee.  His smiles and giggles made being out in the cold worth it!
