Mini Rioter

Grandma and Grandpa bought Jace a Vancouver Canucks onesie when they were making their playoff run.  Curt put it on him tonight after his bath and as Curt was trying to get him ready, he flipped over and looked at us through the bars of his crib.  He looked like a little criminal.  Too perfect not to take a picture and make light of a not so funny incident.

Cooling Off

Wendy and I decided to take the little couple swimming today.  The kids did awesome in the pool!  Today was Kate's first time in the water!  So cute!

We tried to get some pictures, but we needed another set of hands!

Look Who's Half A Year Already!

Today Jace is 6 months old!  What an exciting and crazy fast 6 months it has been!  Curt and I have never had so much fun!  And so little sleep!!!  All well worth it though!

First Haircut!

Jace's hair was getting pretty long on top, so we went for a haircut the other day.  When we got home I tried to spike it... I think I need a little help doing boy's hair!  If it's not a ponytail, I am lost!!!

Happy Father's Day!

Here are a few of my favorite pics of my two boys.  Curt is an extraordinary dad and helps with Jace every chance he gets!  For Father's day, we spent the day together just hanging out!  Jace bought Curt a few things for our upcoming trip to Phoenix.

WIGGLE WORM!!!!

If anyone knows Jace, you know he is a MOVER!  This little guy is all over the place.  Once he starts crawling we are in so much trouble!  He is so close, it could be anytime now!

It's a good thing the crib has bars because Jace is all over the place when he sleeps too!  Curt and I always laugh when we look at the monitor and see the funny positions Jace is in!  We always say we should take a picture, so here they are!

We checked the monitor about every 10 minutes from around 8 until 11 when we went to bed.  If Jace had moved I snapped a picture.  Jace slept soundly through it all!  He moves around so much, but rarely wakes up.  Unless he is caught in the bars!

 This is how we start the night out...Jace is slightly "buckled in!"  This was our attempt to keep him still at night, since at the beginning he was waking himself up when he moved.  Now it is much better!

Our little Houdini can easily get out! 

Legs a bit farther out... 

Completely out and flipped 90 degrees. 

Legs moved back onto the blanket.  Opposite way 90 degrees. 

Really not too sure why he is sleeping with his legs up and hands folded... 

Now his legs are pointed at the opposite wall than before!  Bum up!!!!

I fed him at 11 and laid him back down this way. 

I woke up at 3 and took a quick peek at the monitor, when I saw this I had to run upstairs and take a picture!  He rotated himself 180 degrees this time! 

So cute!  The yellow receiving balnket holds the big one in place! 

8:30 am!

Solid Food Here We Come!

This morning, Curt and I started Jace on some rice cereal, here he is taking a few bites!

He really seemed to like it after he got use to it!

Such a big boy now!!!!

Swimming Lessons Day 2
